OPPORTUNITY INTERNATIONAL
- INDIA

www.opportunity.org.au
Opportunity International have developed a bold strategy to permanently transform the lives of the very poor sub-class peoples of India through indigenous microfinance, livelihood and development service partners.
Despite showing positive signs of increasing economic growth and development, 80% of India's total population - 800 million people - are living in poverty, earning less than $2 a day.  They aim to lead and influence the microfinance sector across India by helping at least 1,000,000 poor families make their way out of poverty - permanently, by 2012.

Opportunity International South East Asia
OPPORTUNITY INTERNATIONAL
- SOUTH EAST ASIA

www.opportunity.org.au
Since 1979, Australians have assisted millions of poor people make their way out of poverty through overseas aid programs across our northern neighbour nations.  As an example, people from C3 Beachway here in Perth were able to set up and fund the Tirta Ambara Trust Bank in a remote village in Bali.  This visionary gift empowered  twenty-seven very poor families to start and sustain their own local businesses.  Opportunity International Australia also works closely with the Australian Government aid agency, AusAID to coordinate other larger projects.
