With a Smile…
Since his wife’s birthday was not far off her husband asked her what she’d like for her Birthday.
“I’d like to be 8 again”, she replied,
On her birthday morning, he rose early, made her a nice big bowl of Coco Pops, and then took her out for the day to a theme park.
What a day! They rode on the Death Slide, the Wall of Fear, the Screaming Monster Roller Coaster, every ride there was. Five hours later they staggered out of the theme park.
Although her head was reeling and her stomach felt upside down, he took her to McDonald’s and ordered her a Happy Meal with extra fries and a chocolate shake. Then it was off to a movie, popcorn, a coke, and her favourite candy , M&M’s.
What a fabulous adventure! Finally they wobbled home and collapsed into bed exhausted. He leaned over and with a big smile lovingly asked, “Well Dear, what was it like being 8years old again??”
She slowly opened her eyes and her expression suddenly changed. “I meant my dress size, you dummy!”
